Right now, your record of AI training is an attendance list.
AIM Education gives your school a measured, defensible record of what staff actually understand about AI, and gives every teacher a standard to judge AI use against, in the situations they meet weekly.
Self-paced online units, with feedback and optional live online sessions.
The problem, in one line
You are accountable for this, and the evidence is a signup sheet.
- In England, 62% of teachers had used AI in the past month, and 88% said their school had no clear strategy for staff use. Sutton Trust and Teacher Tapp, 2025
- In England, 71% of private school teachers said their school had no AI strategy for staff. Sutton Trust and Teacher Tapp, 2025
- Some of the largest free AI courses for teachers are made or funded by AI companies. EdWeek, 2025
The survey figures describe reported use and strategy in England, not teaching quality or effects on pupils. The course examples do not describe all teacher training.
Two problems, one programme
The head signs because of accountability. The teacher stays because of judgement.
Teachers are asked to supervise a technology nobody taught them to judge: an essay that reads wrong, a line nobody has drawn, a student asking why the rules differ for adults. That is a weekly problem. Yours is that you cannot currently show what any of them understands.
A defensible record
A start check and an end check around every unit, written up as a record for your own governors.
A shared standard
One line across departments, so a student isn't told different things in English and History.
Vendor-independent
No tool relationships, no referral fees. The curriculum can say when not to use AI.
A record per unit
A record of completion for each unit, held by the school. Never an audit of an individual teacher.
